RP#7

About a hour later Billy and Cindy arrive at the Waffle House where she works. Cindy vanishes somewhere in the back and changes because you can't wear Daisy Dukes at work. Billy takes a seat at a booth in the corner out of the way and luckily for him, there is no Beth and Cindy was able to slip a order in for him and give him a freebie. Of course when Billy asked about a quickie Cindy slapped him on the shoulder and told him "You're dirty Billy!" 15 minutes later when there was a break at the grill Billy got two waffles, hash browns smothered covered and capped along with a nice ice cold coke. Carol who was the cook and the only form of management on hand for the night took a likening to Billy and threw in two strips of bacon.

While Billy was sitting there eating his grub a couple of booths down is a family having some dinner. There is a little boy around 9 years old who kept turning around and looking at Billy. His mother who taps him on the shoulder and tell him to turn around and after ten times of this she herself turns around and says that she is sorry to Billy but the little boy won't stop turning around and when his mother started to get stern with him the little boy looked at his mother and said.

"But mama! It's NASCAR BILLY!"

Mom was quick with her replay. "I don't care who it is, it's rude to be staring at him! Now turn around and sit like a proper boy and finish your waffle!"

The little boy gives in and goes back to eating his waffle but he doesn't drop the whole It's NASCAR Billy subject. While Billy is polishing off his meal he hears the boy ask his mother if Billy has his belt with him which was meet with "I'm not sure dear. Eat." After five more minutes of non stop questions and it's clear that the little boy isn't going to finish his dinner. Billy slides out of his booth and slowly walks up to the table and how and why the little boy never heard him he'll never know. As Billy makes his way up to the table he unsnaps the UWL Tag Team title from around his waist and the boy's father saw this and distracted the boy. Billy quietly slides into the table behind them and Billy drapes the UWL title over the boy's shoulder. At first the boy was caught off guard and then he realizes what it is and lights up.

"LOOK MAMA!!!!" The boy screams.

Billy smiles as the little boy spins around and is all smiles as he stands up with the UWL Tag Team title covering his whole stomach.

"I KNEW IT WAS YOU NASCAR BILLY! MAMA IT'S NASCAR BILLY!" The boy exclaims.

"It sure is little buddy."

Cindy and Carol lean on the counter by the register and watch everything unfold. "THIS IS AWESOME! I'M HOLDING NASCAR BILLY'S TITLE MAMA!"

Billy holds his hand up. "High five bud!"

The boy high fives Billy and struggles to keep the belt on his shoulder. "MAMA! NASCAR BILLY IS GOING TO FIGHT EDDIE JONES AND STEVIE CALLAWAY THIS WEEKEND MAMA! THIS BELT IS ON THE LINE MAMA!"

"Okay sweetie and you need to stop yelling. Inside voice." She goes. Meanwhile Dad is clicking away with his smart phone snapping pics.

"ARE YOU GOING TO WIN NASCAR BILLY? ARE YOU GOING TO KEEP YOUR TITLE NASCAR BILLY?" The boy asks.

Billy smiles and lets out a slight chuckle. "You know it buddy. Billy and Joe Jones all the way!"

"I HOPE SO BILLY! YOU'RE MY FAVORITE STAR IN THE UWL! YOU SHOULD FACE CALEB HART AND BEAT HIM! I DON'T LIKE CALEB HART! HE'S A MEANIE."

"He can be buddy."

"CALEB HART SUCKS!"

"DANIEL MICHAEL!!! YOU WATCH YOUR MOUTH!" Daniel's mother tells him.

"WHAT? IF I WAS IN THE RING WITH HIM, I WOULD FART ON HIM!"

Billy laughs! So does everyone in the place.

"BILLY? WHEN I GROW UP I WANT TO BE JUST LIKE YOU! I WANT TO BE THE UWL TAG TEAM CHAMPION! YOU'RE AWESOME! I KNOW YOU CAN BEAT EDDIE JONES AND STEPHEN CALLAWAY. THEIR OLD AND SLOW."

"They are buddy. Do you know they are so old, that they have to wear diapers."

The little boy laughs. "DIAPERS!!!! THEY MUST BE BABIES!!! OLD BABIES!!!"

"And they fart all the time."

Daniel laughs and laughs. It took a bit but they get Daniel to calm down and Billy poses with him for a couple of pictures and after a couple of high fives he hands Billy back the title and he wishes Billy good luck in his match and Billy tells him to stay in school. Once they leave Billy puts the title back on and walks up to the counter where Cindy is standing by. He leans over the counter and kisses her.

"I've got to go babe."

"I know. That was sweet what you did for that little boy. I think you made his day. He'll be talking about this for days you know that?"

Billy shrugs "ah it was nothing. I'm just glad I could put a smile on his face. I've got to get going. I'll see you tomorrow?"

Cindy swats Billy with her towel. "Get out of here!"

"Okay! okay!"

Billy runs towards the door and pushes the door open and exits the Waffle House. Carol walks up next to Cindy and leans on the counter top too. Cindy watches Billy get his car and drive off.

"God I love that boy!"

Carol is silent for a second and then admits "So do I."
