It’s the final weekend before Christmas and while most people are busy doing the last minute shopping, wrapping and everything one would need for Tuesday the BLPW World champion is busy like the rest of the world. But he isn’t busy shopping or baking cookies. He’s busy getting ready for Season Beatings. Ready to defend both his titles and busy to keep both his titles.
In his apartment in Philly the Tag Team and World titles rest on the bar top next to each other and Double J is sitting at his bar milking a glass of egg nod.
“Here we are, just hours away from Season Beatings and the biggest match of the year in the BLPW. Now lately there hasn’t been many matches for the BLPW but this match is by far the years best. You will have the greatest tag team in the history of the sport who have been tag team champions for almost 2 years teaming up to defend their titles once again. For two years no one has even come close to beating us when the titles are one the line. The shadow we cast over the landscape can not be matched. Then there is the North American champion. Sniper. Let’s be honest, he has gotten a free pass so far as the North American champion. He hasn’t even been seen publicly with his title and he hasn’t even defended it until now and when it is all said and done, he won’t be the North American champion. I applaud the BLPW for making Sniper defend his title and I applaud the BLPW for teaming Sniper up with Vertigo. A born loser, the Chicago Bears of the BLPW. A royal underachiever. By doing this Shawn Sanders is guarantee to walk out of the MSG with the North American title around his waist. Last week I beat vertigo and took his title that he quote unquote worked so hard to win and keep and this week it will be more of the same. I will go undefeated in the month of December and finish off 2007 on a high note. Victorious.
Then there is the other team. Craig Williams and a no body named Dragon. It must be a charity week for the BLPW because these two in the match make no sense. They are just bodies taking up space and unfortunaly for them they will get hurt. Physically and emotionally. The four opponents that have placed in front of us will all have the same story come Saturday morning. The story that we lost to the greatest team in the history of the sport and that they lost to the single most dominant superstar the BLPW has today. Tag Team Champion, World champion and now….”
Joe picks up the ESW Television title, his newly won TV title that was laying on his lap.
“ESW Television champion. Not even the mighty Angelo Valour could slow me down. One man, 3 titles and in a few hours…..will be adding a another. You think you can compete, you think you can stop me but the sad reality is you are a bunch of Amateurs looking up at my greatness. Season Beatings will just be another notch in the win column for me and another lose in yours. Consider yourself warned.”
