FINDING NASCAR BILLY II

IT'S...........
GENE!

Sunday morning.

8:30 in the morning in fact.

Steve left shortly after texting Gene the details and a picture of NASCAR Billy hanging out at the hotel. One can only imagine how Gene managed to stay away till 8:30 in the morning but he did and right at the bottom of the hour Gene pulls into the hotel parking lot in his rental and pulls right up next to DJR's white El Camino. Gene quickly hops out of his car and shuts the door. He checks his phone again to double check the address and can't help but keep looking at DJR's car. Gene takes a couple of steps back wards and looks up and spots the door that Steve said he would find Billy.

Inside the hotel room NASCAR Billy walks out of the bathroom after just taking a shower in his tighty whities. He sits on the edge of the bed and picks up and snaps his blue jeans out and starts to slide them on. He has both of his legs in them and has them pulled up to his thighs when he hears a car door closing. It's a cheap hotel, you can hear everything. Billy stands up and slides his jeans up and walks over to the window and peaks through the blinds that have never been dusted and what Billy sees makes him freak out.

He spots Gene Anderson looking over his ride.

"SHIT! FUCK! What is he doing here?" Billy says almost in a panic and snaps around and looks for his mask. He is throwing everything off his bed, the belt goes flying and Billy is tearing up his room looking for his mask......

As Gene is walking up the stairs towards the second level he can't help but look at the El Camino and think "Isn't that DJR's car?" Gene slowly strolls up to the door and before knocking on it Gene double check his phone to make sure he has the right room.

It looks like the Tazmania Devil just ripped through Billy's room. It has been turn up and turned upside down and from the shadows that show from under the door Billy can see that someone, most likely Gene is standing in front of his door. And laying on the floor in front of the door is what Billy has been looking for. His mask.

Gene knocks on the door and straightens his tie and clears his throat. After a half a minute Gene goes to knock again but as he holds his hand up the door opens up and standing there with the UWL World Tag Team title is DJR sporting a NASCAR Billy shirt. DJR high fives Gene has he is still holding his hand up.

Gene "DJR?"

DJR "Who else would it be?"

Gene "I was told NASCAR Billy was here. I wasn't..."

DJR "OH man it would be awesome if Billy was here! That would be off the hook as the kids say."

Gene has a pussled look on his face. He looks inside the room and noticed it is a wreck.

Gene "What happened in there?"

DJR "Gene! We won the tag titles last night....I had a party. Tore it up as the kids say."

Gene "You did. You did."

Gene is looking around the room almost forgetting that DJR is there. Two things Gene spot laying on the floor is a empty mason jar and a can of chew. Skoal winterleaf.

DJR "So what are you doing here Gene?"

Gene "Oh...huh.....I was hoping to get a word with the new UWL World Tag Team Champions."

DJR "Where's Jessica? I thought she did that sort of stuff."

Gene "Oh this is for UWL.com. A special interview. So what do you say? We go find a place and do this?"

DJR "Sure. Anything for you Gene."

Gene "Great! Glad to hear."

Denny's Grand slam Breakfast

Ah Denny's. Where else would you want to be on a Sunday morning in Las Vegas?

Gene and DJR sat down at a table and they order something to eat to which DJR was like.

"How in the hell am I'm going to eat? My mouth is covered! I didn't think this mask deal out."

So as Gene sips on his coffee and DJR is just looking at his, wrapping his hands around the cup, Gene can't help but to think if it really is NASCAR Billy sitting across from him at the table. He wants to just come out and ask him, "Hey bro, you Billy?" but he can't as much as he wanted to. Gene is a student of wrestling and he respects the wrestling mask. He respect lucha. But he so wants to say "Fuck it" and rip that mask off of DJR. So Gene thinks how can he find out who is behind the mask without unmasking him. Then it dawns on him. The answer was sitting on the table the whole time.

DJR is new to the UWL. No one knows who he is and he just won the UWL World Tag Team Titles.

Gene "So DJR."

DJR "Gene."

Gene "The reason why I sought you out is well, you just won that. The UWL World Tag Team Titles."

DJR nods and pats the face of the title.

DJR "Yes sir."

Gene "You and Spotter just showed up in the UWL and here you two are, tag champs and we know nothing about you two."

"Huh oh. This can't be good." DJR thinks to himself.

Gene "So for this piece I want the fans of the League to get to know their new champions a little bit. So how about we start with where you two come from? Where in the world is the winner's circle?"

DJR "Well Gene."

DJR laughs as he gave this zero thought.

DJR "We come from the circle tracks of America."

DJR taps his index finger on the table.

DJR "We won so many races, claimed so many championships from race tracks all over this great land that this is where we are from. From the winner's circle. We couldn't be beat in racing and that the winner's circle became our home. But you know Gene. After a bit we needed to be challenged. So we decided to come to the UWL and dominate the sport of wrestling. And we're off to a good start wouldn't you say?"

Gene "So far so good but what the fans what to know DJR. Is when you go home at the end of the day, after the match, after the race. Where is that? Everyone has a place they call home. A place to lay your head. We have fans all over the US and we are now touring the lower 48 and there will be times when you are on the road it feels good to just go home. Where would that be? What town or city out there can say the current UWL tag team champions came from?"

DJR "Oh. huh. I guess...."

Gene has his notepad out and is ready to write something down. Gene also has his phone on his lap so DJR can't see it. DJR is just drawing a blank so he says the first place that comes to mind.

DJR "Hickory."

Gene "Hickory?"

DJR "Yeah. Hickory North Carolina."

Gene chuckles. He checks his phone which has NASCAR Billy's bio up on it and you'll never guess where Billy is from.

Gene "Do you remember years ago, Dodge started doing these commercials for the new Dodge pick up and the all new Hemi engine. They created this duo of rednecks who chased the Dodge hemi around asking this guy in his new truck if that thing has a hemi in it."

DJR "Sort of."

Gene "Well that guys name is Jon Reep and he's from Hickory. Do you know him?"

DJR nods his head no. "No, can't say I know him."

Gene "Well he was born in 1972 so that makes him 42. He's got to be what? 10 to 15 years older than you?"

DJR "Jesus 72? Man I wasn't born till 96 so all da guys he knows, I doubt I knowns."

DJR tries to hide his southern draw but it slips out now and then. Gene writes down a few notes and checks his phone as well. He notices that Billy was born in 96.

Gene "Ah what a shame. I'm sure he must be the pride and joy of Hickory."

DJR "Oh I wouldn't know. I dropped out of school and had to go work on my uncle's farm. I was a bit of a rebel and Mom kicked me out at a early age."

Gene "Really?"

Gene knows this story all to well.

DJR "My uncle got me into racin'. I meet Spotter at the dirt track one night and I don't know, he just kept hanging out and next thing we know. We started a race team and da rest dey say is history."

Gene puts his pen down and leans back in the booth and crosses his arms. He smirks.

Gene "So Billy how does it feel to be a two time tag team champion?"

DJR "huh...who?"

Gene "Oh stop the act Billy. I know it's you. Everything you just told me you told me months ago. Spotter is your cousin and you told me three months ago he got picked up in the mid west and was going to have his first match. That company folded a month ago and out of no where, Racin' Tyme is in the UWL."

DJR sighs. "Fine."

DJR removes his mask and slams it on the bench next to him and long and behold sitting across from Gene is none other than NASCAR Billy. Gene is so happy.

NASCAR Billy "But listen! Please please please what ever you do, don't tell a soul! IMA don't want anyone to know."
