Assault and Battery
vs
Racin' Tyme
vs
Racin' Tyme
Bailey Zook - This tag team match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, Weighting in at a combined weight of 450 pounds. DJR, The Spotter, RACIN' TYME!"
HWY 99's instrumental version of Let the Sunrise say Goodbye plays as DJR and Spotter step out from the back holding up checker flags! They stop at the top of the isle and pose, crossing their arms and standing side by side. After a few seconds they high five each other and run down to the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope. They pop up and each pick a corner and climb to the second turnbuckle. They both stare off into the crowd before slowly lifting off their white racing helmets to reveal that they are wearing white masks.
Bailey Zook And their opponents!
]i]The sounds of 2 Skinnee J's 3 Minute Warning interrupt Bailey, sending the arena almost immediately into a frenzy of jeers for Alan Christopher's two "henchmen". Moments later, none other than Assault & Battery appear on the stage. Assault stands in front of the two and stretches his arms out wide, while Battery stands behind Assault and raises his arms up in the air. The jeers begin to resonate loudly from the UWL arena but the two common street thugs scoff and continue down the ramp with menacing scowls plastered across their faces. [/i]
Bailey Zook Being accompanied to the ring by Steve Sinclair. They weight in at a combined 622 pounds. They are Assault and Battery!!!!
Steve Sinclair strolls out behind them with a file folder in his hand. The trio is boo'ed pretty heavy as the two men roll under the bottom rope and into the ring. Assault stands in the center of the ring with his arms stretched out once more, while Battery goes to the ropes with one foot on the bottom and the other on the middle rope, he raises one arm in the air with his tongue sticking out, mocking this crowd as 2 Skinnee J's "3 Minute Warning" fades out.
Barry Sharpe Last week Assault and Battery who we have always seen as hench men for Alan Christopher attacked DJR and Spotter and they seem to have some sort of working agreement with Steve Sinclair.
Fred Overstreet Well there has always been this friendship I guess between Alan and Steve.
Barry Sharpe This is true. Those two do seem to be fans of one another. Alan did bring Steve to the UWL a little over a year ago.
Fred Overstreet And really Alan didn't have to do that.
Barry Sharpe In any case Assault and Battery are in action here tonight and it has been a long time since we can say that.
Assault starts it out for A&B and Spotter is starting it off for Racin' Tyme. Nate Beasley calls for the bell and Spotter and Assault start to circle one another. They pause for a second and they go to lock up, but Assault kicks Spotter in the mid section. He takes Spotter by the arm and twists it and hammers on Spotter's shoulder with a forearm blast. Assault twists the arm and pulls up, Spotter stands up straight and sets himself. He does a standing backwards cart wheel, takes Assault by his arm and reverses the hold putting Assault in a arm bar. Assault sells the arm bar for a second and connects with back elbow on Spotter. Free from the arm bar, Assault spins around and unloads with a wicked knife edge chop on Spotter. Backing into the ropes, Assault tags in Battery as he sends Spotter across the ring and into the ropes.
Battery pops through the ropes and together A&B take Spotter down with a double shoulder take down. They then drop double elbows on Spotter as Nate tells Assault to leave the ring.
Barry Sharpe Little bit of team work by Assault and Battery. I'm little surprised by this.
Fred Overstreet Well in all fairness, these guys have all the time in the world to train.
Battery with the cover grinding his elbow into Spotter's face.
Nate with the count.
1!
and kick out. Spotter sits up and Battery locks him in a head lock. On the outside of the ring Steve Sinclair stands near A&B's corners with his hands in his pockets watching the action. Battery reaches over the top of Spotter's head and starts to tug at his mask. This draws boos as Spotter is now fighting the choke hold and keeping his mask on. Battery does manage to move Spotter's mask, blinding him. Battery breaks the headlock and stands to his feet and drives his knee into Spotter's back. Planting his knee in his back Battery pulls back on both of Spotter's arms. Battery looks over at Assault and Assault enters the ring. Nate tries to stop him, but Assault runs into the ropes, bounces off and connects with a running dropkick on a unprotected Spotter! DJR enters the ring to help his partner but Nate stops him, holding him back and warning him to get back in his corner. Assault slaps his hands together when Nate wasn't looking signaling a tag and he and Battery takes Spotter and sling him off into the ropes. Spotter comes off the ropes and A&B catch him and drop him with a double spine buster. Nate spins around once DJR is in his corner and signals for Battery to get back into his corner. Assault backs into the ropes, comes off of them and drops a knee across Spotter's head.
Barry Sharpe Spotter needs to get some offense in so he can make a tag.
Fred Overstreet I'm real surprised on how well Assault and Battery are doing so far in this match.
Assault spins around and sits on top of Spotter and holds his head and just starts to unload with several rights. The crowd boos this as Spotter is defenseless. Assault hits him one last time, Spotter is laying on the mat wide open. Assault looks into the stands and then starts to tug at Spotter's mask and the boos pour in. This time DJR can not take any more of this and he ducks under the top rope and charges across the ring to help his partner. Battery enters the ring as well. DJR with a running drop kick on Assault to a roar of cheers from the fans. Battery blind sides DJR with a clothesline. Battery gets a couple of kicks in on DJR and kicks him out of the ring. Nate is trying to stop Battery from going after DJR and visa versa. Assault meanwhile takes Spotter and dumps him on the outside of the ring right in front of Steve Sinclair.
DJR pops to his feet and slides back into the ring to take on Battery, and now Assault. A&B kick DJR down as he slides under the bottom rope. The boos begin as DJR is being double teamed.
Meanwhile on the outside of the ring, Steve Sinclair takes Spotter and slings him into the corner post as hard as he could. Steve catches Spotter and lifts him high in the air in a choke slam and slams him hard on the concrete floor. Then he quickly picks up and rolls Spotter back into the ring.
Assault and Battery in the time being knock DJR back out of the ring and Assault tell him to "STAY OUT OF THIS RING!"
Barry Sharpe I think DJR did more harm to his partner than anything else.
Fred Overstreet Yeah anytime you allow your partner to get choke slammed on the outside of the ring, you might just want to get back in your corner and shut up.
A&B pick Spotter up and they sling him into their corner. Assault follows Spotter in with a knee to the midsection. Nate is telling Battery to exit the ring and he does, but makes a quick tag. Battery jogs out to the middle of the ring and mocks DJR into getting into the ring, which only makes DJR to start to enter the ring. Nate rushes over and stops DJR from entering the ring. Battery spins and charges hard at Spotter leaping and smashes him in the turnbuckle. Battery takes Spotter by the head and hooks his arm and lifts him up in a suplex. Battery holds his one free hand out quickly for the tag and tags in Assault. Battery takes a couple of steps back and Assault quickly climbs the turnbuckles. Assault steadies himself on the top turnbuckle and leaps from the top turnbuckle and spears Spotter who was still being held upside down! The boos are loud as Assault covers Spotter.
Nate counts
1!
2!
Assault lifts Spotter up breaking the count just as DJR was about to enter the ring.
Barry Sharpe Assault broke up the count himself! I don't think that was a smart move.
Fred Overstreet Look at him just egging on DJR. Spotter needs to find a way to make a tag.
Assault takes a step over Spotter and starts to jaw at DJR and this causes DJR to start to enter the ring. Nate gets between the two keeping them separated. Battery sneaks into the ring and takes Spotter and tosses him over the top rope to the floor below. While Nate tries to retain law and order in the ring, Steve Sinclair scoops Spotter and lifts him over his head and drops across the guard rails at ring side. Spotter folds over the guardrail and just stays there. Battery checks on how his partner is doing and he is still being pushed back by Nate, as Nate tries to keep DJR out of the ring and Assault is just egging DJR on. Steve Sinclair takes Spotter and pulls him off of the guardrails. He scoops Spotter up again and this drops him across his knee in a back breaker and holds him into place. Battery up on the apron takes a couple of steps and jumps off of the apron and drops a knee on the exposed Spotter! The boos are loud and a small "Spotter" chant starts to breath some life into him. Battery rolls Spotter into the ring just as Nate is able to restore order to the match. Assault makes the tag to Battery and Battery enters the ring and gets a few stomps in on Spotter then picks Spotter up and slams him back down to the mat. Battery tags back in Assault. Assault moves down the apron to where Spotter is laying on the mat and slings himself over the top rope and drop a leg across Spotter's throat! Assault reaches over and hooks Spotter leg.
Nate counts
1!
2!
3 NO! Assault places Spotter's leg on the bottom rope and points it out to the ref.
Barry Sharpe Again they had the match won but clearly winning isn't the goal of the match.
Fred Overstreet Listen Barry, DJR can try to rally the fans all he wants but unless he drags Spotter to his corner and makes the tag, I don't see it happening.
Assault tags in Battery who drops down off of the apron and reaches under the bottom rope and drags Spotter under it. Battery measures up and takes a couple of steps towards Spotter and connects with a elbow on his sternum. Battery then rolls in under the bottom rope and picks up Spotter's legs and pulls him back under the rope a couple of inches and falls backwards snapping Spotter up into the bottom rope. DJR is now facing the crowd and is slapping his hands together and stomping his feet to get the crowd into cheering Spotter on. As that is going on Battery tags in Assault and Battery lifts Spotter and raises him up in a power bomb in their corner. He turns his back towards the turnbuckles as Assault climbs the turnbuckles.
Barry Sharpe Oh this can't be good for Spotter....
Fred Overstreet This could be it!
Outside of the ring Steve Sinclair reaches over the guard rail and tells some little kid to get lost and takes his chair. Steve snaps the folding steel chair closed as Assault leaps from the top turnbuckle, catches Spotter's head with his knees and drives Spotter in the mat as Battery power bombs him! Assault rolls off of Spotter and comes up to one knee and is looking right at DJR and mocks him with a "WHOOOOOOOOOO!" Steve slides the chair under the rope. Battery quickly snatches that up as DJR can't take no more of it and flies into the ring. Assault ducks DJR's wild swinging clothesline and as DJR moves past Assault, Battery is there with the chair and let's DJR have it who never saw it coming! Nate rings for the bell and hits Assault and Battery with the DQ.
DJR is on the mat as Battery winds up and smacks DJR with the chair again. The boos are real audit able as Steve Sinclair steps into the ring removing his jacket.
Barry Sharpe I think this was a set up all along!
Fred Overstreet What gave that away?
A&B pick up DJR and drag him to the ring ropes, they prop him up against the ropes and reach down and pull up the second rope up and over his arms pinning them between the ropes. DJR shakes off the two chair shots to realize that he is all tied up. He struggles to free him but can not. He kicks at A&B but they just mock him and egg him on to give it the old college try. Battery then snaps off some sweet chin music on DJR while he was tied up in the ropes. The whole place is booing A&B and Steve Sinclair as Steve picks up the chair and holds it up in the air. He shows it to the crowd and drops it on the mat in middle of the ring. Assault then takes Spotter and brings him to his feet and hands him off to Battery.
Barry Sharpe OH I don't like the look of this.
Fred Overstreet This has pain written all over it.
Battery takes Spotter and sets him up for a another power bomb. Steve kicks the steel chair under Battery, behind Battery. Battery bends over and places his arms around Spotter's waist.....
Barry Sharpe Oh no!
Fred Overstreet Oh this isn't good at all.
Nate gets a sense of what is about to go down and tries to stop it, only to have Assault to take him and toss him out of the ring. Battery lifts Spotter up in a PILEDRIVER! Steve gives the chair a little tap and steps out of the way and Battery DROPS SPOTTER ON THE STEEL CHAIR WITH A PILEDRIVER!!!!!
Barry Sharpe OH MY GOD!!!
Fred Overstreet ON THE STEEL CHAIR NO LESS!!!
Barry Sharpe WE NEED HELP OUT HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!! WE NEED MEDICAL IN THE RING RIGHT THIS SECOND!!!!
Fred Overstreet Oh I think I am going to throw up. That was hard to watch!
A hush falls over the arena as Assault laughs and high fives Battery who seems awful proud of himself. EMTs flood the ring and start to work on Spotter who isn't moving. DJR seems to be stunned as he had a front row seat to what just happened. Battery snatches up the steel chair off of the mat as Steve Sinclair demands a mic.
Barry Sharpe Where is Jay? How can he condone this!
Fred Overstreet Man I hope Spotter is okay.
As the stretcher is pushed down to ring side and a body board is slide into the ring to strap Spotter to, Steve Sinclair slowly strolls over and stands next to DJR. Steve kneels down to get eye level with DJR.
Steve Sinclair "The clock is ticking....DJR......The hour glass is running out of sand. I presented you with a deal two weeks ago. A deal in which I would be your agent. At that time you threw it back in my face....and I said you would regret that day. Well kid. That day has arrived. I will ask you one last time. Do you except that deal now?"
The EMT's has a neck brace on Spotter and have him strapped down to the board as they begin to move him closer to the ropes. DJR looks at Steve Sinclair.
DJR "When I get free, it might not be today, or tomorrow but one day, one day real soon. All three of you will pay for what you just did to my cousin! And god help you if he can't ever walk again because I will hunt you down and KILL YOU!"
Steve lowers his head and shakes it.
Steve Sinclair "I highly doubt that but have it your way."
Steve stands up and steps out of the way and Battery comes at DJR with the steel chair in hand and just lays into DJR blasting him, denting the chair and sending a "OOOOHHHHHHH" through the crowd! The top of DJR's white mask is now sporting a huge red spot and it is growing by the second. Battery holds the chair up in the air for all to see and the UWL faithful begin to boo. Assault has stepped on the outside of the ring and is standing on the ring apron. The EMT's start rolling Spotter up the isle on the stretcher. Steve walks back over to DJR and kneels down next to him.
Steve Sinclair "That looked like it hurt....allot. But I can guarantee you that the next one is going to hurt way more than that one. So DJ....."
Steve pauses for a second.
Steve Sinclair "R.... I will ask you one last time. Do you except that deal?"
Steve holds the mic next to DJR who's white mask is half red now. DJR slowly lifts his head and looks at Steve.
DJR "You can...GO TO HELL!!!!!!"
Steve sighs.
Steve Sinclair "Fine! Ladies and gentlemen! Mark this day on your calendar and light a candle because today is the day that Racin' Tyme just ran out of time! Spotter is never walking down that ramp ever again! Spotter is no more! He's done! And now.....DJR. This racing reject you all love to cheer for.....this is his last day in a UWL ring! I have ended many careers in my time and I took joy in ending every single one of them! But this one might be the one that I cherish! I'm going to relish in ending DJR! Take a good hard look folks! This is the last time you will EVER SEE DJR!!!!"
Steve steps away and Battery blasts DJR again with the steel chair.....
And again!
And again!
And again!
And one more time for good measure!
The boos are deafening as Battery slams the chair on the mat and blood is running out from under's DJR's mask. Assault walks over behind DJR on the ring apron and starts to untie his mask.
Barry Sharpe Oh this is just....oh come on! Really? You are going to unmask DJR.
Fred Overstreet Don't you want to know who he is?
Barry Sharpe NO!
Assault has DJR's mask all untied and hops down from the apron. Steve walks back over to DJR and places his hand on the back of the mask. The boos get even louder as Steve pauses for a second and smirks. He then slowly starts to pull of DJR's mask at first and then he rips off the mask to reveal that DJR is none other than NASCAR BILLY! and he is busted wide open and bleeding like hell. Steve tosses the mask away and stands right in front of NASCAR Billy.
Steve Sinclair "Nice to see you Billy. I hope you have all that cash you owe me and just to show you that there is no hard feelings between us. Here is a copy of your contract. The contract that I own."
Steve tosses the file folder at Billy and kneels down in front of him.
Steve Sinclair "You work for me! Remember that because.....you have hell to pay for."
Steve starts to laugh and the boos are pretty loud as several UWL officials flood the ring to break it up, a little late but better late than never.
Barry Sharpe "Oh....We need to cut away from this. I am so disgusted right now. Let's go to break, something, anything. Enough already!
