Post Glory Afterglow
Shortly after Honor and Glory Billy is backstage pacing back and forth in front of the UWL banner. He hasn’t gotten cleaned up since his match with The Rodent and has the chain used in the match draped around his neck and Billy is holding it like one would hold a towel.
"I said I would beat the ever lovin’ crap out of da Rodent! I told ya I would end dis! I would end him!” Billy stops and faces the camera. "And I DID! As much as Kip was the voice of the UWL, always there to get a word from ya, always der to pick apart your mind to tell you the fans at home how you were thinin’ about your upcoming match…..As much as I respected Kip and fer as much as he helped me when I first stepped into da UWL. It is Jess who I really and truly look up too. Ima tellin’ ya when I was wearin’ a mask and paradin’ around as DJR, it was Jess who coaxed me out of my shell. Words can not describe how I feel about Jess. And…..”
Billy slowly raises his index finger and his whole hand is shaking.
"When I saw da rat bastard strike her, wrap dat f*ckin’ chain around her neck…...I just…..just….” Billy’s eyes get real wide, like freaky unnatural like wide. "Lost it. No one hurts Jess, not even some little flea infested dirt bag like The Rodent! And...tonight…..tonight….” Billy takes a deep breath. "I sent a statement to da UWL. To every single one of ya in dat locker room! To da guys who don’t understand me. To da guys who look down on me and mock me, yeah I hear ya in the der talkin’ sh*t. What I did to Da Rodent….wasn’t just fer what he did to Jessica. It was me, loadin’ a double barrel shotgun and unloadin’ dat mother in middle of dat ring! Gone are da days of everyone not believing in me. Gone are da days and nights of people lookin’ across from der name on a piece of paper and seein’ my name and chalkin’ dis up as a easy victory!”
Billy slaps his head and faces the camera again as he was pacing while talking. He holds his arms outwards and tilts his head up and looks down at the camera.
"I was right you know….I was right.” Billy says as he slowly nods his head. "I was right ‘bout Nichols and Bowers. I told ya dat dey would lose, and no one believed me. No one took what I said serious. Every single one of ya just blew dat off as it was just nonsense. NO WAY!!! Could Caleb Hart retain his title in dat triple threat match…..but I knew he could. I knew he would. I knew….I knew. Tomorrow mornin’ Chris and Bowers will wake up knowing dat dey failed yet again! Dey threw everything dey had in dat ring and failed! FAILED!!!!”
Billy runs his hands through his hair.
"I am da next UWL Triple Crown Champion. Not Nichols. Not Bowers. Not Eagles. Not Michaels. I am…...I am da chosen one. Hand picked by Jay himself to defeat Caleb…...and...and none of ya see dis. Ya’ll blinded by da next shiny thing that comes dis way. Da Coronation cup…...believe it or not, I have one in my possession. I know what it takes to win one of dem and starting dis week….I will begin to march down dat road once again! I will capture dat 2015 cup…..But it won’t be fer reasons like you ya’ll will be spoutin’ dis week.”
Billy gathers his beard in his hands and twists it and pulls on it.
"It won’t be fer da honor of da cup. It won’t to be to add my name on da long list of past winners, a who’s who of da UWL. I won’t be doin’ it to get a shot at da UWL Triple Crown CHampionship either…..I won’t do it to make my career, to jump start my career or to add to my legacy either.” Billy shakes his head. "None of dat matters to me. I will do to every single person in dis tournament what I just did to Da Rodent out der earlier tonight!” Billy points towards the ring if it was off to his right. "I was cheated...CHEATED out of da Cup of Excellent. I had dat thing all but wrapped up. it was mine...MINE I TELL YA! I DESTROYED EVERYONE IN DAT TOURNAMENT! Stephan Callaway…..Da Hangmen and when I eventually got my hands on him, Ray Harlan all went down in defeat to me! Dat cup is mine. I won dat cup….and it was taken away from me. Politics did me in in da end by two pricks who couldn’t stomach seein’ me win it. Well….”
"It’s time to make amends fer dat. Time to take what is rightfully mine! MINE GODDAMN IT! I want dat cup….and dat is what I will take…..what everyone views as da holy grail. Ima gunna ruin someone’s dreams and hopes. I will ruin someone’s chances at Caleb Hart and da Triple Crown Title. Because it’s all mine………” Billy takes a deep breath in. "Ashley Williams. Your path towards da cup, and da Triple Crown Championship….is over with. Just be thankful dat your little title you have isn’t on da line because I would strip dat from ya in a heart beat. Just be thankful dat da only thing on da line fer ya, is something you have no right in to begin with. Der is no cup in your future. Der is no Triple Crown in your future. You! Ashley Williams.” Back to the crazy eye look. "Have no future.”
