vs Billy Danielson II

Scene opens up inside of a bar somewhere in Tokyo on a Thursday night and it’s one of these silly bars to look like a American bar but misses the mark unless you are into 70’s western gay bars than it’s dead on. Inside at the bar is HillBilly Sutton and his friend, mentor, agent Nanook who takes up two bar stools himself. Every drink comes in a mason jar in this place and Billy has his hand around one as Nanook is chatting away.

Nanook ”I’m telling you I talked and talked till I was blue in the face. You didn’t get it.”

Billy ”What the hell do I pay for? Huh?”

Nanook ”Billy! Brother! I tried!”

Billy “The f*ck you did! Over a year ago Nanny! A f*cking year ago you convinced me to go solo! You told me that if I could prove that I could stand out in singles competition you would get me shots at titles! The UWL only has three of them, and so far you got me a shot at the TV title when I was fighting for my career, my contract against Steve! I wasn’t even ready for that f*cking match and that match was this time last year! Since then I have had nothing! Not one GD shot Kim! We have guys walking in off the street, been here not even two months and they get shots at that Prestige Championship? Now you’re telling me a f*cking midget who has 1 win!!! ONE F*CKING WIN!!!! is getting a match against Ron Hamilton for that belt? I defeated Ron Hamilton last month! Why ain’t I in that discussion? Huh?”

Clearly Billy is upset. He takes a swig of his drink, downs it, slams it down on the bar top. Nanook turns towards the bar himself and leans on it with his elbows.

Billy “I can’t fight Cory so that leaves me with only two options! That Prestige title and the Triple Crown and we both know that Cory has his eyes on that. He’s done and proved that he the best TV champion of all time, he has nothing left to prove with that belt Kim.” Kim being Nanook’s given name 

Billy “I’m not going to stand in his way of getting his hands on that Triple Crown. I’m not doing that to him. My time will come when I get my shot at that belt, but right now, seeing that I can’t get any closer to those tag belts for whatever reason…..”

Billy slaps Nanook on the arm and Nanook looks over at him.

Billy “I want a shot at the Prestige championship. I have more than f*cking earned it. My record…..look you take my record and you place it next to Ron Hamilton’s. Billy Danielson and James Kelloggs, those guys combined don’t have my record! Plus I beat Hamilton a couple of weeks ago! THAT alone should be enough to get me a shot at the belt.”

Nanook ”You didn’t beat Williams when he had the belt. You didn’t beat Hart.”

Billy “F*cking no one beats Hart! You can’t hold that against me! And I don’t know if you noticed but hardly no one defeats Williams plus that prick has like 12 years on me. I’m only in my second year as a pro. I’m not that guy who wins every damn match Kim. I’m not Caleb Hart. You know that. But I am the guy who gives it all inside that ring and win or lose, everything I have, I left inside that ring and I win more than I lose. And when you compare me to Kelloggs…”

Billy picks up his mason jar and it is empty. He slams it back down on the bar top and it’s pretty busy in there. Billy leans over the bar and looks down it at the bartender.

Billy “HEY! ANOTHER ONE!” Billy demands. “I am Caleb Hart.”

As Billy waits for his drink Nanook nods his head in agreement.  

Nanook ”I don’t know what the deal is Billy. I feel like I am failing you. It’s my job to sell you. My job to convince them that you are worth the money they are paying you, that they are leaving money on the table by not putting you in these key match ups, that the fans love you and want to see you compete for these titles and they are not listening to the fans.”

Billy is given another drink and Billy takes gulp of it.

Billy “Well who ever Kelloggs has, is. Maybe I should hire that guy.”

Nanook ”If that is what you feel you need to do.”

Billy sighs. He takes a another swig of his drink and sets it down. He doesn’t respond to what Nanook just said for it’s a path he doesn’t want to go down. Nanook has been good to him. He got him into the UWL, with his help and Jay’s, he was able to come back to the UWL as DJR and if it wasn’t for Nanook, he wouldn’t be HillBilly Sutton, two time tag team champion, 2014 tag team coronation cup winner.

Billy turns around and leans up against the bar and instantly groans.

Billy “F*ck me.”

Nanook looks at him and glances over his shoulder and rolls his eyes.

”What’s the matter guys? Trouble in paradise?” One Jessica Larkin says.

Billy “Now there is.”

Jessica “Oh Billy. Still holding a grudge I see.”

Billy “Still a flaming c….”

Nanook cuts Billy off. ”Jessica!” He says as he slides off his barstool and slides in front of Billy. ”What do you we owe the pleasure for?”

Jessica smiles ”There is a buzz on the internet about the battle of the Billys. People are talking about this match and they are really looking forward to the two Billy’s of the UWL facing off against each other and I heard what Danielson said the other day. So I figure I would see what the older, slower, less attractive Billy had to say in response to younger, cuter, more gifted Billy.”

Nanook ”Oh well we haven’t had time to hear his rebuttal….” Nanook begins to say when Billy cuts him off.

Billy “You tell that imposter than I’m glad he learned how to use Google.”

Jessica ”What was that?”

Billy stands up and Nanook steps out of the way. Billy looks down at Jessica.

Billy “You heard me. I know how your hearing is better than anyone in the UWL. That kid doesn’t know sh*t about me. He just looked at my wiki page and came to a conclusion on his own but that little prick doesn’t know the story, doesn’t know what happened. He knows nothing!” Billy says as he leans down in closer to Jessica “But I’m sure that hasn’t stop someone from spreading lies.”

Jessica ”If you’re going to say something like that you better have facts to back it up.”

Billy “For the record if we’re going to be honest here for once.”

Jessica ”That would be a first.”

Billy “The only tag team partner I needed was Emma Douglas. I was in a pinch. I was in a bind and I need someone I could trust to team with. Emma despite our battles, was someone I knew would stand next to me and fight as hard as I would to keep that tag belt around her waist. I bet your little boy toy doesn’t know that. Does he know that Joe Jones went down to injury and had to hand over his belt to Emma so I could go on and defend those belts against the Shadows Family? Nah” Billy shakes his head. ”Probably not huh?”

Jessica ”I’m going to guess that it’s on your wiki page right? So maybe he read that?”

Billy “Doubt little Billy knows that Yugo is my cousin and we tore this place up, becoming an instant hit as Racin’ Tyme. I’m sure he read that too.”[/color]

Jessica ”I would have to ask him if he read that online.”

Billy “Yeah ask him if he knows that they Team Empire….” Billy makes his face of disgust and Jessica concurs with the same feelings when Team Empire is mentioned. “Asked me to join them. They needed my help they said. Ask little Billy if he read that?”

Jessica ”I will when I see him next.”

Billy “Yeah you do that! And you tell him I didn’t like his tone. Little prick sitting there acting like he knows me…..he doesn’t know me. He wasn’t around here when all of that sh*t went down. Much like other people I know…”

Billy takes a step closer towards Jessica. She isn’t backing down from him and you can tell these two have not worked out their issues between them since the break up.

Billy “They don’t know the whole story.”

Jessica ”Clearly he did his homework. I don’t find what he said to be too far off base. I mean you do have this co dependency thing going on. I know that better than anyone.”

Billy “Is that right?”

Jessica ”That’s a fact. I mean look at you. All of your success comes from tag team wrestling. Your single career at best can be described as merely subpar. You’re afraid to really hurt the people you hold close to you. Take Nanook. What has he done for you? Huh? You yourself just said he hasn’t gotten you a whiff of championship gold in over a year Billy. Hell he didn’t even put up an argument when you and Cory got railroaded in the semifinals for the Coronation cup. Best Team Eva or Omega Combat will get a shot at those new tag belts before the Bionic Rednecks. Everyone knows this. You should fire him. He’s a loser and he’s slowly making you a loser too.”

Billy “Really? And you know this how?”

Jessica ”I’m in those meeting dumbass! He waddles in, starts to speak, they say no and he waddles back out the door. Guy just doesn’t care about you anymore. He has a new meal ticket now. Someone I’m guessing because I don’t have proof, is in line for the Prestige Championship.”

Billy glances at Nanook. Nanook holds up his hands.

Nanook ”Billy? Come on man, think with your head. She will tell you anything to get inside that head of yours. You know me.”

Billy doesn’t respond. Nanook looks at Jessica and can’t believe what she has just done.

Nanook ”You think I’m James Kelloggs’s agent? That is silly. I don’t know that guy. Billy! This is bullsh*t man! Just complete and utter…”

Billy “I think it’s time for you to go Kim.”

Nanook ”Billy! Really? Come on man!”

Billy “Go!”

Nanook is upset. He slowly shakes his head and stomps his feet and begrudgingly leaves. Billy watches him leave and then he looks down at Jessica as they are still toe to toe. Jessica is looking up at him.

Billy “You tell little Billy Danielson that when he steps in the ring he better be ready. You tell that boy that he will get hurt for running his mouth. No one likes a wiseass and he is what HIS record is. Nothing. He’s going to find out why I don’t need Cory this week. He’s going to find out what everyone else finds out when they get in the ring against me. This just isn’t another match against the likes of Ron Hamilton and midgets and he could join the list of others who faced me and haven’t been heard from since. He could very easily if I see fit to add him with the likes of Steve Sinclair, The Rodent and Arch Stanton. Guys who faced me and haven’t been seen since.”

Jessica ”You know now that you mentioned, Arch has been missing lately.”

Billy “Remind me how he won that match again?”

Jessica ”Anything else you want me to tell him?”

Billy “Nah but there is something I want to get off my chest about you though.”

Jessica ”Oh what’s that? You’re sorry for shooting towards my friend? Sorry for hitting that fan and have our house ransacked when you turned your back on all of those who helped make you one of the biggest draws in the UWL? Or are you finally going to say sorry for cheating on me? What is it Billy? Huh? What could you possibly say to me?”

Billy takes Jessica by her hair, her ponytail and hooks his other arm around her lower back and pulls her in, Jessica puts her hands on his chest to push him away when Billy locks lips with Jessica! She puts up a fight for like a second, then embraces it. All eyes inside the bar are on them, there is pause inside the bar and then an eruption of cheers and salutes.  

Fade out to Billy and Jessica really starting to kiss each other passionately……….
