In a undisclosed location….
Inside a building that now serves as Bester’s workout space, Nanook felt it was good to move his old space, get him a new apartment and keep the location of both a secret which requires Bester to driven to and from for each and every event since E6, taking a different route home every day and multi cars to keep the people (The former Team UWL crew) from discovering where Bester lives and thus getting revenge on him for injuring James Kelloggs arm….
Bester is sitting on the weight bench, nike shorts and a towel draped across his neck deep in thought.
“I don’t know little buddies. This week Bester is up against a tall order. A tall order, a challenge in which will prove very difficult for him if I win. This beat the clock challenge….well let me start with that. How about that?”
Bester takes a deep breath.
“I am very honored that Mister Blake has chosen me to compete in this beat the clock match, going up against Mister Daniels who I don’t know, have never meet but Mister Nanook seems to know a little about it.”
Bester laughs.
“He told me the other day when it was announced that I was facing him to turn on my damn phone and google him.”
Some more laughs
“Oh that Mister Nanook. I’m sorry to say that I have yet to find my phone and google mister Daniels and it’s not that I don't know how to do that, it’s just that stupid bird thingy on twitter makes so much damn noise! Every two seconds it whistles and I can’t get nothing done. I really don’t like the twitter anymore. I mean it was nice to see some of the fancy photos that my #BestFriend partner Rayven Hardy would post and cheer her on for her upcoming matches, but there is so many meanies and bullies on there it isn’t funny! And the language! So many naughty words. Mister Severin leading the pack with….so...many….bad….words.”
Bester slowly shakes his head.
“Mister Nanook says that you are very good Mister Daniels and I believe Mister Nanook. He told me stories about you, how you won championships elsewhere and that I shouldn’t take you lightly. Mister Blake has entered you in this match, not against me but in this beat the clock match to crown the number one contender for Rayven Hardy’s title so you must be like, really really good.”
Bester pauses.
“But there is a piece of me to be honest that wonders just how good you are. Like, just look at the names in these beat the clock matches. James Edwards. Cecily Bell, JMD, former DarcHorse champion Crystal Millar, Lennox Daniels? And one Xavier Laroux.”
You can tell Bester is not a fan.
“Mister Severin and one Jan Van Der Roost.”
Bester crosses his arms.
“Someone is going to put up a time on the clock that is going to be real hard to beat and maybe no one beats it. I’m afraid Mister Daniels that you won’t be able to beat that clock and beat me at the same time. You see, after what happened at E6, I am on a mission. I promised Rayven that I would go out of my way to make sure no one get a unjust shot at her title and in this beat the clock match, the only way to get at that DarcPro Heavyweight title is to beat the time I am going to set on the clock. And for you Mister Daniels. That means you have to go through me.”
Bester stands up.
“And that’s just not going to happen.”
